I created this mail-art piece for a friend I intend to mail it as is through the mail. I used a
large rectangular windowed tin by cutting the background paper to fit and then adding the image that was given to me by
Karen Owen . I used watercolor pencils to color her dress and gel pens to accentuate then I added her onto the background with foam pop dots to raise her up. I added another piece of scrap paper to the front of her and stuck the sides on with double stick tape. I then added the moss and bird using some multi-purpose adhesive. The front label bracket was added by marking holes with a pin then popping brads through to secure it. Finally I used double stick tape on the ribbon and wrapped it around the outside of the tin to keep it closed.
On the backside I added some rub-on's I had laying around and wrote with a permanent marker I then sealed it with PYMII.
